SUMMARY:UNSTUCK LIVE - NEWCASTLE
DESCRIPTION:Four experts. Four problems. Four solutions. One evening in Newcastle that gives you more actionable clarity than most people get from a year of consuming content on their own. \nYou don’t have an information problem. You have enough podcasts\, courses\, and content to fill a lifetime. What you don’t have is a clear\, specific strategy to solve every problem holding you back. \nThis isn’t an information event. It’s an implementation event. \nYou won’t leave with a list of notes and a head full of things to think about. You’ll leave with four practical frameworks you can use immediately.\nWHO IT’S FOR: \nThis evening is for you if you’re dealing with any of the following: \n• Emotional eating and a difficult relationship with food that no diet has ever fixed\n• Weight loss struggles that keep ending in the same place no matter how hard you try\n• Food noise – the constant mental chatter around eating that exhausts you\n• Past experiences or trauma you know are affecting you but don’t know how to move past\n• Fear\, anxiety\, and limiting beliefs that stop you before you even begin\n• Low motivation\, low self belief\, and the feeling that everyone else finds this easier than you do \nNobody sells from this stage. This is not the kind of event where someone spends two hours building rapport before pitching a £3\,000 programme at the end. The transformation comes from attending the event itself and implementing what each speaker gives you. One payment. Nothing sold on the night. Ever. \n• 4:30pm – Doors open. Arrive\, get seated\, get settled\n• 5:00pm – Luke Harrison. Energy & Routine\n• 5:30pm – Tracy Holmes. Fitness & Health\n• 6:00pm – 15-minute break\n• 6:15pm – David Francis. Mindset & Self Belief\n• 6:45pm – Sam Gibson. Food Behaviour & Emotional Eating\n• 7:30pm – Close \n01 — Luke Harrison | Energy & Routine\nKeynote: The Most Honest Audit of Your Life You’ve Ever Done\nLuke has spent over 20 years understanding why people fall off every wagon they climb onto – not from a position of having it figured out\, but from living every version of getting it wrong first. In 45 minutes he’ll take you through the exact framework from his bestselling book. You’ll leave knowing precisely where you are\, exactly why you’ve been stuck\, and for the first time in a long time\, exactly what to do next. This isn’t a motivational speech. It’s a mirror. \n02 — Tracy Holmes | Fitness & Health\nKeynote: How Fitness Helped Me Survive the Worst Year of My Life\nA former specialist nurse turned women’s fitness coach\, Tracy’s keynote draws on her deeply personal journey through grief\, trauma\, and loss – including the devastating loss of her brother. Movement and routine became her lifeline when life felt unbearable. She’ll change the way you think about resilience\, mental health\, and the powerful connection between your body and your ability to survive the hardest moments of your life. \n03 — David Francis | Mindset & Self Belief\nKeynote: You Are The Hero\nDavid will challenge you to confront the narrative that has been making your decisions\, eroding your self trust\, and keeping you smaller than you know you should be. The stories you’ve been telling yourself weren’t chosen – they were learned and inherited. You’ll leave with clarity you haven’t felt in years and the kind of self belief that doesn’t need anyone else’s permission to exist. \n04 — Sam Gibson | Food Behaviour & Emotional Eating\nKeynote: Why You Overeat and How to Stop for Good\nThe behavioural truth behind overeating that has nothing to do with willpower or discipline. Sam specialises in food noise\, overeating patterns\, and the binge restrict cycle – and in this session you’ll diagnose your dominant overeating pattern\, identify your triggers\, and walk away with real practical solutions that can reduce overeating by up to 70% in real time. Once you understand the real mechanism driving your relationship with food\, everything changes. \n

SUMMARY:Hack the North - Bulien x Alteryx
DESCRIPTION:Get ready to hack with Bulien & Alteryx – hands-on fun\, cool tools\, and awesome collabs in person! \n\n\n\n\nJoin Hack the North – Bulien x Alteryx!\nIt’s a full day of practical\, hands-on Alteryx challenges\, open to users of every level\, from people who have never opened Alteryx through to Advanced-level veterans. Individuals are welcome and so are teams; if you turn up solo\, they will pair you up on the day. The North East has been doing serious data work for years\, and this event is built to celebrate the data nerds of the North. \nThe day runs in two halves. The morning is a training session led by the Bulien team\, covering the Alteryx essentials and the techniques you’ll need for the afternoon. The afternoon is the hackathon itself\, where you’ll put what you’ve learned to work on real challenges with real data. That split is what makes the event genuinely open to all levels: complete newcomers get brought up to speed before lunch and let loose on the problems after\, while the more experienced get a useful refresher and a proper stretch. \nExpect real challenges with real data\, food and coffee throughout the day\, prizes for the standout solutions\, and time spent alongside the Bulien team\, which sports a disproportionate number of Alteryx ACEs and other world-class talents. Hackathons consistently deliver something tutorials cannot: muscle memory built in a few focused hours with people who know slightly more\, and slightly less\, than you do. Spaces are limited so reach out and book your place. \n\nTo register\, or for more information\, please follow: Hack the North – Bulien x Alteryx Tickets\, Monday 6 July  •  9:30 AM – 5 PM | Eventbrite

It’s not the version that keeps things “nice”. \nAnd right now\, it may be the version of you that does NOT feel comfortable \nBUT… This is the version that makes the sale feel inevitable. \nThis ISN’T about scripts or copy and paste lines from “Sales Strategy 101 by Boring Sales Trainer Number 5”. \nInstead\, this is something different that ACTUALLY works. \nJust you\, selling like someone who knows exactly what they’re doing. \nOne day to change EVERYTHING about your sales. \nReal time CORRECTION of the things that are costing you money. \nNot hiding behind a screen hoping things fall into place by just being there. \nInterrupt the patterns in your behaviours that are loosing you clients and leaking money\, and FIX THEM before you leave the room. \nThis event is nothing you have seen before! \nThis is about ACTION and at the end of the day you will leave having already shifted into the version of you that makes more money in your business. \nThis isn’t a fake guarantee to get bums on seats… This is a promise based on being in total control of the agenda! \nIt’s time to stop relying on 2021 marketing tactics\, and step up into the version of you that your dream clients need you to be in 2026 and beyond. \nThis is the room where everything clicks. \nYou’ll uncover the different sales identities already within you and learn exactly when and how to use them based on what your buyer needs. \nYou’ll see where you’ve been leaking sales without even realising it… the subtle moments where you lose authority\, soften your message\, or wait to be chosen. \nAnd more importantly\, you’ll leave knowing EXACTLY what to do instead. \nThis isn’t about sitting in a room and listening to speaker after speaker making notes you will never look at again. \nThis is about being in a room where change happens before you even leave the building \nSo the next time you’re in a sales conversation\, you’re not winging it. \nYou’re leading it. \n  \nTo find out more\, and to sign up\, please follow: Magnetic Sales LIVE: The Workshop – Hannah Walker Consultancy

SUMMARY:Rise and Design - AI is great but...
DESCRIPTION:We’ve all had our minds blown over the last couple of years\, dazzled and amazed by what AI can do and ‘create’. Including the image above.\nWhile Copilot\, ChatGPT et al can do a great job of gathering information\, refining spreadsheets\, creating code and analysing data\, there are some areas where it can’t match the human touch.\nSo we’ll be hearing about some of tasks that simply can’t be replicated or replaced by AI\, not yet anyway\, and some of the problems and issues you might face when you a hand over too much responsibility to a machine. A very efficient machine\, but a machine none the less \nSpeakers include – \nElizabeth Waterman\, Design Consultant\, e3design\nFrom their studio on the banks of the Tyne\, e3design turn ideas into products\, whether you’re a global brand such as Tommee Tippee\, P&G or Unilever\, or a start-up company that has big plans\, such as MudDaddy\, OGEL or Geordie Gin.\nBut increasingly\, they’re being approached with more than an idea or concept\, but with a fully rendered design created by one of any number of freely available design tools. And more often that not\, these ‘products’ are not just impractical\, they’re completely unmanufacturable\, or even downright dangerous. And while these tools can be invaluable for generating ideas\, they’re simply no match for a designer with years or decades of experience. Elizabeth will talk about how to get the right balance between human and machine. \nAlex Craig\, Partner and Head of Commercial\, Muckle LLP\nWhether it’s a contract\, a license agreement or a patent application\, Chat GPT can rustle up a credible looking legal document in a matter of seconds. But as the saying goes\, ‘the devil is in the detail’\, and you really don’t want to find out the hard way that the agreement you thought was watertight is actually full of holes. However there are many ways in which AI is helping lawyers to be more efficient and to deliver a better service. Muckle have been operating as a law firm in Newcastle since 1920\, helping regional\, national and international clients with their legal needs\, and Alex will tell us more about how they are adapting to this new world. \nJames Hanson\, Founder/Designer\, Layers Studio.\nBranding and marketing relies on visual images to convey the right messages and foster familiarity. We all know that a logo is not a brand\, and while there are numerous apps that can create a free logo in seconds\, what they can’t create is that deep understanding of your values\, mission\, and why your customers love you. And because ‘people sell to people’\, it really can’t be left in the hands of something that isn’t…..people. However there are a myriad of useful tools out there and so James will tell us more about how they navigate this AI powered world. \nAnd as usual there’ll be lots of time for chatting and meeting new fabulous people. \n  \n📆 Friday 11th September\n🕰️ 09:30 – 12:30\n📍 The Catalyst\, Newcastle upon Tyne\, NE4 5TG

SUMMARY:Getting Started with Agentic AI
DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\nThis workshop will demystify AI agents\, explaining what they are\, how they work\, and why they behave differently from other AI tools. \n\n\n\n\nMost people have used a chatbot by now\, but AI agents are a different thing entirely and the gap between the two is where a lot of confusion sits. \nThis workshop walks you through what an agent actually is and why it behaves differently from the AI tools you might already be using day to day. \n  \nWhat’s On?\nLooking at how agents get access to your tools and data\, comparing the two main approaches: Model Context Protocol (MCP) and direct API integrations. This will help you understand the trade offs rather than just the buzzwords. \nExploring the differences between running these systems on your own hardware and leaning on cloud services\, which matters for cost and for keeping control of your information. \nBy the end of the workshop\, you will have a clear picture of how an agent is built\, even if you never write a line of code yourself\, so you can have sensible conversations with developers or suppliers. \nThis workshop is aimed at small businesses and charities who want to understand the technology properly before spending money on it. No prior technical knowledge needed. \n  \n\n\n\n\nAbout Digital Pathfinders\nThis fully funded event is part of the Digital Pathfinders programme\, supported by the North East Combined Authority. Attendance is exclusive to SMEs\, charities\, and social enterprises registered or trading in County Durham\, Gateshead\, Newcastle\, North Tyneside\, Northumberland\, South Tyneside\, or Sunderland. \nTo attend\, you’ll need to register with the Digital Pathfinders programme\, which provides access to additional workshops\, events\, and one-to-one support. If you haven’t yet registered with the programme\, you’ll be prompted to do so after signing up. SUMMARY:Business NOT as usual : People's Emergency Briefing
DESCRIPTION:The film looks at what climate and nature crises mean for food\, health\, economic stability\, and everyday life in the UK. \n\n\n\n\nJoin us for a screening of The People’s Emergency Briefing\, a short film presented by Chris Packham that brings together leading UK experts to set out the latest evidence on the climate and nature crises. The film looks at what these changes mean for food\, health\, economic stability\, and everyday life in the UK. \nThe climate and nature crisis threatens all aspects of British life\, from national security to the food supply. Solutions exist but we need a rapid\, WW2-scale response\, and for the government to act now to build the solutions needed. \nThe National Emergency Briefing (“NEB”) was commissioned in response to a simple but profound democratic principle: people should be trusted with the truth about major risks that affect their lives. \nWe will be joined by Hayley Fowler\, Profesor of Climate Change Impacts at Newcastle University\, who was one of ten UK’s leading experts who briefed an invited audience of more than 1\,200 politicians and leaders from business\, culture\, faith\, sport and the media in Westminster in November 2025. \nPlease come and watch the film and make up your own mind about whether action on the climate and nature crises is needed. \n📆 Wednesday 30th November\n🕰️ 12:30 – 14:00\n📍 The Catalyst\, Newcastle upon Tyne\, NE4 5TG

SUMMARY:AiX Conference | AI & Design Conference | Newcastle
DESCRIPTION:Join AiX Conference\, the AI & Design conference in Newcastle on 21 April 2027. Hear from industry leaders. \n\n\n\n\nAI is changing how design work is done. AiX is a day for the people navigating it. \nAiX is a brand-new\, one-day\, single-track conference at the intersection of AI and Design — the first of its kind in the North East of England. Join designers\, product teams\, founders\, and curious minds at The Catalyst on Newcastle Helix to learn how real product teams are actually using AI in their work. \nTools\, workflows\, and expectations are evolving faster than teams can adapt. Design is no longer just UI\, Figma\, and the double diamond — it now spans systems\, agents\, prompts\, and AI-assisted design tools. There’s no playbook\, and everyone is experimenting in isolation. AiX exists to change that. \nThe day covers three areas: \n🛠 AI in Practice — how product teams are designing with AI today: real workflows\, real tools\, real constraints \n🧩 Adaptive Design Systems — moving from static systems to AI-driven\, adaptive ones \n🔮 The Future Designer — what the designer’s role becomes as the craft is redefined \nWho it’s for: product designers\, UX/UI designers\, design leads\, product managers\, founders\, and engineers working closely with design. \n📆 Wednesday 21st April 2027\n🕰️ 09:00 – 16:30\n📍 The Catalyst\, Newcastle upon Tyne\, NE4 5TG
