Space to host
We provide state of the art event and conference space in Newcastle. Our venue is perfect for any occasion from large-scale corporate conferences to film showcases in our 173-seat bespoke theatre. All our spaces are unique and boast the highest spec audio-visual technology including wireless presentation systems and streaming box with PTZ camera solutions. Our expert team take pride in offering the highest customer service, working together to deliver your events. Together we can create a bespoke package including, on the day support, catering and full flexibility to ensure your event is a success.

Our event and conference spaces in detail
Our corporate Boardroom allows you to wow your stakeholders and delegates at those meetings when you need to impress. With panoramic views of the city, luxurious furnishings and more audio visual technology, the Boardroom has its own breakout space, private restroom and access to the back staircase and lift, which allows any VIP’s to make their way to the meeting space without needing to walk through the building.
The unique exhibition and conference space in the entrance to The Catalyst, offers a blank canvas for those who are looking to showcase their recent work, projects or even a space to network in amongst the stalls. This space is open, light and airy with a strong footfall leading to our onsite café.
Our bespoke theatre offers seating for 173 delegates, with each seat boasts USB and USB-C charging, induction loop throughout and state of the art audio visual capacity. This includes; THREE 4K UHD ultra-short-throw data projectors, ceiling speakers for program sound and public address, wireless presentation system and streaming box. This space is ideal for screenings, presentations, ceremonies and as a conference space.
This is a versatile space, lending itself well to large conferences and meetings. The ideal setting is cabaret style with each desk having access to charging and USB charging ports, seating 72 delegates. We can also accommodate theatre style comfortably for 130 delegates. Like in many of our spaces there is state of the art audio visual technology - ultra-high definition data projector, ceiling speakers for sound and public address, wireless presentation and streaming box, to name a few.
Gorgon and Faraday
Event space with all the flexibility you need, this room can be used as one or split into two halves depending on your requirements. Ideal for medium size conferences, team building events or seminars, the space works well in cabaret style, with each desk having access to electrical sockets and USB charging ports, seating 64 delegates at capacity. The space can also be used theatre style seating 110 delegates, offering an opportunity for dynamic meetings and showcases. This space like the rest of our building has state-of-the art audio visual technology including; 98’’ display in both spaces, ceiling speakers for program sound and public address, wireless presentation facilities and microphones.
