Welcome, Lauren!
We’re delighted to introduce our new Assistant Centre Manager, Lauren Neill, who joins The Catalyst centre team with a diverse hospitality background.
Lauren has experience covering a range of management and service styles from sticky-floors all the way up to Michelin star restaurants.
At The Catalyst, she will support with the marketing, sales and operational performance of the centre, as well as working internally and with businesses and stakeholders across the North East to programme events and engagement.
Lauren said: “I am really looking forward to becoming part of the community at Newcastle Helix and delighted to be looking after a building as unique as The Catalyst.”
Originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland, Lauren moved to the North East in 2012 to study Media, Politics and Sociology at Northumbria University. After graduating in 2015, she jumped straight into hospitality management and has never looked back.
She added: “The North East has truly become a home away from home for me and I am excited to open new doors and learn about new sectors which I may not have come across just yet.”
Amelia Findlay, Centre Manager at The Catalyst, said: “We are so delighted to have Lauren join us, she has settled in brilliantly, with her positive bubbly personality making an impression with everyone she meets.
“We are already seeing the results of her super organisational skills and we are all looking forward to working together delivering fantastic service to our office teams and all our event customers.”
