Welcome Back, Ryan!
The Catalyst Team Is Back To Full Strength
We’re delighted to re-introduce our new/old Assistant Centre Manager, Ryan Blake, who re-joins The Catalyst centre team after a brief stint away.
Ryan previously worked at The Catalyst for Oxford Innovation from September 2020 and was prevalent across the building’s operations and health & safety during some of it’s most difficult times due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
At The Catalyst, he will support with the marketing, sales and operational performance of the centre, as well as working internally with businesses and stakeholders across the North East to deliver programmes, events and engagement.
Ryan said: “I am really looking forward to returning to the community at The Catalyst and the Newcastle Helix. I know how unique of a building The Catalyst is, as well as the Helix site and I can’t wait to get started again.
Born and raised in the North East, and a keen football coach, Ryan is brilliant at building lasting and meaningful relationships. Ryan studied Art & Design at University before entering the flexible workspace market for a number of years. Originally a senior account manager for one of the market leading brokers in flexible workspace, Ryan moved to the operator side when he joined OI in September 2020.
He added: “Whilst in my most recent role, I was always drawn back to The Catalyst. It is a truly unique building with a fantastic mission statement and community. The team, most of which was in post when I originally left, have been so welcoming and I can’t wait for us to build on the great things they’ve accomplished during my time away.”
Amelia Findlay, Centre Manager at The Catalyst, said: “We are so delighted to welcome Ryan back, he has settled in brilliantly, picking up where he left off with his relationships with all of our current, new and old customers.
“We are already seeing the results of his super organisational skills and we are all looking forward to working together, to deliver a fantastic service to our office teams and all our event customers.”
