RTC North Achieves Prestigious B Corp Certification
A proud step in our journey toward purpose-driven business.
RTC North is proud to announce that it has officially become a Certified B Corporation (B Corp), joining a growing global movement of companies using business as a force for good.
The B Corp accreditation is awarded to organisations that meet the highest standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. Fewer than 2,000 UK businesses currently hold this status.
For RTC North, a company dedicated to supporting innovation, skills, and growth across the North of England, achieving B Corp status reinforces a long-standing commitment to purpose beyond profit.
“This accreditation is a reflection of who we are and what we stand for,” said Sarah Hart, Operations Director at RTC North. “It is the culmination of nearly two years of rigorous assessment, covering everything from governance and supply chains to employee well-being and environmental impact. It’s a proud milestone, but also the start of an ongoing journey of accountability and improvement.”
The certification process required RTC North to complete over 250 detailed questions, provide evidence across multiple areas of business practice, and undergo independent verification interviews.
By becoming a B Corp, RTC North joins a global community of over 8,000 organisations worldwide, from small enterprises to well-known brands, committed to creating a fairer, more sustainable future.
